Father Collins park is Dublin's coolest and newest park. It is wholly sustainable and it extends to 26 hectares. The park offers a running / cycling track, 6 playing pitches, 6 fitness stations, two playgrounds, picnic areas and a skate park. If you are with a toddler, be prepared that he will be fascinated by the footbridges over the lake, the ducks, the swans, the fountains, the wind turbines and the promenade itself, so it is possible that you will not even visit the playground and he will be exhausted enough to go home...
